Hi Alan,
I have to verify recipient addresses in Groupwise/eDirectory.
The first thing I had to realize, is that I have to use an empty base_dn
when querying the eDirectory. This is in contrast to openldap or AD,
where you always have the organisation's node at the root. But adjusting
my setup to accept empty base dns wasn't a big deal.
What really turned out problematic is verifying alias or distribution
list addresses like postmaster@, group@ and the like, as groupwise
doesn't seem to make them available via ldap :(
How did you solve this in your setup?
