mailgate.palnet.com is a Sendmail server. Most of us here seldom deal
with Sendmail. If you install Exim, we will be glad to help, as it is
what this list is for.
Unless Exim is somewhere in your setup, which you did not tell us, we
may be hard pressed to explain why your Sendmail is timing out from
Spain.
