Hi Marc,

It indeed the Debian bug you mentions seems like the bug I
encountered with gmail.
However, I noticed that "smtp.gmail.com <http://smtp.gmail.com>" resolves to
gmail-smtp.l.google.com <http://gmail-smtp.l.google.com>. Replacing the "*"
by "*.google.com"
made exim4 deliver the mail as expected.
