Subject: AW: [exim] Relay for certain virtual Mailaccounts
I know that this is not the best way. But I am converting the Mailserver
from a Windows Mail Server (Imail). Users shouldn’t notice the change, so I
have to allow them to send mail even if they cannot authenticate. Some
customers still use old Outlook 97. I don´t know how get this done without
allowing the relay from some addresses...

Its possible. However its a really really bad idea.
You can do this using an acl which accepts if the sender address is
right. However this does basically make you an open relay - and people
will find out how to relay through the box.

Why can they not use authenticated SMTP - even MS clients can do that
now? You really need to move to an authenticated SMTP based relaying
for anything not on a local controlled network.
