Thank you, David -- this didn't work when I added it where you suggested,
but instead I changed
#!!# ACL that is used after the DATA command
check_message:
require verify = header_sender
accept
to
#!!# ACL that is used after the DATA command
check_message:
accept hosts = 127.0.0.1
require verify = header_sender
accept
and this seems to do the trick.
Does this look okay to you?
