[exim] Problem with carriage return and ldaplookup

Hi,

i´m using exim 4.34. if i activate vacation-message , if have the problem that
the vacation-message dont´t have carriage returns. i make get the text from a
ldaplookup.
I have tried "\n" and "\\n" but i get every time
"1. Row \n 2.Row" or 1. Row \\n 2.Row.
