[exim] <defunct>

Every time I start Exim it looks like this.

mail     29023     1  0 17:14 ?        00:00:00 /usr/exim/bin/exim -bd -q15m
mail     29025 15048  0 17:14 tty1     00:00:00 [exim] <defunct>

It didn't bother me as much because there was always one zombie and went
away if I stopped Exim. But now a few zombies are starting and they are
staying after Exim is stopped. This is a server that handles zero mail
because it is still being built.

Any ideas?
