Should have just emailed here asking in the first place :)
Didnt manage to get sasl working, however the pam_exim module (with the
redhat 9 patch, even though I'm running gentoo) has fixed the problem.
Thanks alot for the pointers and all the help. Now to write an ebuild to
do this all the time for me ;)
