Actually, although I neglected to mention it, I do have those
two lines in the router. Please let me show you what happens
when I try to verify a tagged and untagged address:
root@footech:/home/admin/doug# /usr/local/bin/exim/exim -bv doug@???
doug@??? verified
root@footech:/home/admin/doug# /usr/local/bin/exim/exim -bv
doug-tag@???
doug-tag@??? failed to verify:
Unrouteable address
My understanding is that I should be getting the same results
from both verifies because the tag is removed for that purpose.
I think that when I understand why I'm not getting equivalent
results, I'll have this thing figured out. Just to be complete, let
me show you what my router looks like:

no_expn
