[Exim] Build issue.

I'm trying to run the /make/ command to install Exim 4.30 on my SuSE 8.2
box but I keep getting this error:

: command not founds: line 2:
: command not founds: line 5:
*** ../scripts/MakeLinks should be run in a system-specific subdirectory.
: command not founds: line 7:
: numeric argument required8: exit: 1
make: *** [build-directory] Error 255

Never ran into this before, of course I've only installed exim 3 times
and it was all on RH boxes....

Any help would be greatly apprectiated.
