Problem found. Turns out that this host had timed out so many times that
retry-rules now were selecting "Immediate rejection".
I had to remove my retry rules database completely to fix this (I didn't
like doing this, but I was out of options and time).
Is there a "fast-dirty" way to remove one host's entry from the retry
database without removing the entire database?
Finally, I have experimented with retry rules a bit, but would like a "kick
all" rule that says:
thishost.com * F,1d,15m F,indefinate,1h
(in other words, try every 15 minutes for 1 day, then try every hour
indefinitely for just this host)
This is a customer's machine, and if it is down, I NEVER want to reject
their email because of timeouts
Can this be done?
