Ignore my previous about "must" have an MX. It's pretty stupid if you
don't - set the MX to <mailserver>.domain.com for the arbitrary host, so
that deliveries to the arbitrary box go to your MX.

Otherwise you'll get people attempting delivery to your A record for the
domain.
