i have a script i use, based on a perl snippet i got from a friend on
another list. it generates a most of a zone file as output, which may then
be used with bind. it does _not_ supply the SOA record or $TTL value for
the top of the zone file, i keep a file header around for that. i don't
update mine frequently enough to need to automate that part.
a sample of the script, with a couple of ip addresses in it for examples,
is attached.
