I think this is a GPG/PGP problem. My key is a GPG key. IIRC, when it is
loaded to a PGP key server, the fingerprint number that is given out is
different. I'm afraid I'm not sufficiently expert in this to know any
more details - maybe when I say "PGP server" there, what I really mean
is "server running older software" or something...

Yes, the key itself is held correctly. It's just the identifying "tag"
that comes out differently on these older/PGP servers.

I haven't previously put a copy on the ftp site, but I guess that's
quite a good idea.
