I don't think so. :)

I generally use the system's hostname (@ in Exim) for that. That domain,
and maybe a few other domains, which I put in a domain list system_domains:

domainlist system_domains = @ : CONFDIR/system_domains

Those domains are the only domains that recognize the system aliases
file (/etc/aliases) and system user account mailboxes.
