I mean the smarthosts I can use are the mail exchangers defined with
MX records for our domain:

astazou:~> nslookup
> mailhost

Server: 129.88.43.51
Address: 129.88.43.51#53

Non-authoritative answer:
mailhost.imag.fr canonical name = imag.imag.fr.
Name: imag.imag.fr
Address: 129.88.30.1

> set q=mx

Server: 129.88.43.51
Address: 129.88.43.51#53

Non-authoritative answer:
mailhost.imag.fr canonical name = imag.imag.fr.
imag.imag.fr mail exchanger = 10 imag.imag.fr.
imag.imag.fr mail exchanger = 20 harmonie.imag.fr.
imag.imag.fr mail exchanger = 50 ebene.inrialpes.fr.

The mail administrator told me I can use the three mail exchanger
above for sending mail.

Using "byname" will not help me I think, as "mailhost.imag.fr" has
only one IP, am I wrong ?

Thanks for your reply.
