Without more informations, we can't help.
Show us DNS-records, or better a debuglog.
Or tell us the name of the domain.

Exim does retrying host based, this just means that the retrytime for
this host isn't reached yet. you can run exim -qff to force delivery, or
exim -Mc MSGID.
