[Exim] mysql lookups / !SELECT / affected_rows

Hello.

What's the official position on non-SELECT statements in mysql lookups?

As of Exim-4.11 such lookups return DEFER on their success. Is this intentional?

I've cooked up a quick'n'dirty patch for them to return number of affected rows instead.

If there's an interest in such functionality I can clean it up and post here,
it's a couple of lines actually.
