Subject: Re: [Exim] maildirquota with exim
Hi there,

I have an experimental patch that will allow the automatic creation and
maintenance of maildirsize files, in my case by using a query to an LDAP
for the users quota values.

The patch has been generated by hacking the maildir code out of the
courier mail system and shoe horning it into the exim code. It is the
lazy way of doing it but it seems to work under the limited testing I
have done. For example changing the quota in the ldap results in a new
maildirsize file being written when the next mail arrives etc.

The beauty of patching this way is that it works seamlessly with the
courier-imap server which was my goal. Now if only courier-imap had
support for ACLs then I would be set, but thats another tail of woe!

I need to re-work the patch so that its up to date with the latest
release of exim 4.x as I am a couple of point releases behind, then I
could post it if people are interested.

Regards
Jason
