[Exim] too many errors

The message:-

2002-04-09 18:03:30 SMTP call from localhost.localdomain (smtp.com)
[127.0.0.1] dropped: too many unrecognized commands

is self explanitory, but three questions:-

1. How many errors is 'too many'
2. Can this number be changed
3. Can I log the errors somewhere
