[Exim] Mail to root error

Hi,

I get the following error when I try to send a mail to
root@??? (where xxx is my domain) :

2001-06-20 03:00:02 15CVxu-0000ka-00 == root@??? T=scanmails defer (13):
Permission denied: failed to chdir to /root

I have never_users = root, set in the main configuration
file, and I have an alias for root to a normal user set in
/etc/aliases.


Any ideas as to what can be wrong?
