What are you trying to do there? Is OpenMail an MTA (mail transport
agent) or a MUA (mail user agent)? The doc on the net as given by
google is a a bit lacking in clarity.

You're getting confused there. Sendmail and Exim are MTAs, and are used
to deliver and recieve mail. MUAs, such as outlook/mutt are used to read
that mail.

If openmail is an MUA, all it should need is /usr/lib/sendmail (which is
a simlink to an MU&A) and /var/spool/mail/ or wherever you MTA puts mail
into.
