I have placed a testing release of Exim in
ftp://ftp.cus.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/programs/exim/exim-2.950.tar.gz
This is the first testing release of what will become Exim release 3.00.

Following previous discussion on the list, I have reworked the host/net
accept/reject/reject_except options into single options with negation.
All is described in README.UPDATING. There is a Perl script which
converts an old-style configuration into the new format. Comments and
corrections to this documentation and the script are welcomed.
There are also a number of unrelated changes and updates, documented in
doc/NewStuff.
The main documentation has not yet been updated, so testers will have to
remember that a number of options it describes have been abolished or
changed. My next task is to work on the documentation.
I'm sure you'll let me know if you find problems, but please also let me
know if you are running 2.950 successfully, so I get some feel for how it
is doing.
